Capabilities

What we do.

Esyber is built around one principle: most problems don't need the most sophisticated technology. They need the right technology, applied carefully, by people who actually understood the problem first. Below is the menu — but the real work is choosing what not to do.

Software & apps

Software that solves the actual problem.

We build web apps, mobile apps (Android and iOS), back-end services, and the integrations that hold them together. We start with the person who has to use the thing every day — not with a framework.

  • Native and cross-platform mobile applications
  • Web applications and dashboards
  • Back-end APIs, data pipelines, integrations
  • Replacement of spreadsheet-and-email processes with something that scales

Embedded & firmware

Devices that survive the field.

Battery-powered electronics that have to work for years in places nobody visits. We've built firmware that runs a decade on a handful of AA cells, custom communication protocols with bespoke encryption, and the production-test rigs that ship the devices out the door.

  • Bare-metal and RTOS firmware
  • Ultra-low-power design (microamps, not milliamps)
  • Secure boot, signed firmware, OTA updates
  • Custom serial / wireless protocols with their own encryption layer
  • Production line-end test software for contract manufacturers

RF, IoT & hardware

Connectivity in difficult places.

Mining sites with no cell coverage. Tailings dams. Borehole heads. Underground basements. When the commercial network isn't there, we build the one that is.

  • LoRa / LoRaWAN end-devices and gateways
  • Sigfox certified end-devices (we've achieved class 0)
  • Custom radio networks for private deployments
  • Ultrasonic level sensing for tanks and reservoirs
  • Schematic, PCB layout, EMC pre-compliance
  • ICASA certification handled in partnership with iSERT

System design

Joining the dots.

Most projects fail at the seams: where firmware talks to the back-end, where the production line meets the engineering bench, where the user expectation meets the physical constraint. We work across the seams.

  • End-to-end solution architecture
  • Make-vs-buy analysis (we'll happily tell you not to build)
  • Vendor selection and contract review for technical RFPs
  • Bringing a stalled project back to life
  • Workshops and training (we've delivered AI / deep-learning workshops to defence research)

Not sure which of these you need?

Most of our best engagements started with "we're not even sure how to describe what we need." That's exactly the conversation we like having.
